Just happened to ring and once i was off another line, i called back and a fax was the answer...

Caller tells me that my Sears card is past due, which is automatically taken out of my bank account. I return this call and the person that said they never call from this number yet I have it on my phone.They want me to pay over the phone .

Called me and my friend threatening to put me in jail.

Just got a random text message - don't care to read it at my expense as the last few randoms from Nevada have been solicitation for loans or credit...

called my cell phone looking for someone else and asked for their contact information.

very rude asked for someone that does not live here when I told them that I was called a liar.

caller keeps calling then hanging up. Has called 5 times in the last 24 hours.

They broke the law. I returned a call and they didnt ask who I was. They gave the MRD-which is required on all calls when you speak to a live person and calls are recorded. They said the MMDC-which is only said to the indebted consumer or Right Party Contact. I advised the bill was already paid yesterday & to check their records. I hung up. I called back and spoke to a supervisor named Rochelle and she said they were a 3rd party collection agency and she would call me back at 9:15pm. I informed her it was against FDCPA to call outside of 8am till 9pm consumer time. She said no-well yes. She called me back and said it is not against company policy to just speak to anybody who returns a call to a number they called. I explained its against FDCPA to disclose information without knowing who you talked to and I would forward this matter to my attorney.

They called several times. The first time I asked to be taken off the list. The second through 7 calls I asked what company they were and they would hang up. The 8th call I said yes I wanted help with debt reduction just to phish for info. They then asked what my home phone was.I said what company do you work for.He then stated he was the one asking the questions .I said really, he then laughed and said yes and they would be calling back later and laughed and hung up.
